1. Arcangel, "Me Prefieres a Mi"
Daytime reggaeton from Arcangel, who sounds slightly like smooth soft-voiced R&B artist Lloyd. From the sensitive vibes and Auto-Tuned falsetto, I am also getting notes of Drake. Diggin' all the P.E. sports bras in the video's high school setting. Arcangel is Austin Santos, a New Yorker who moved to Puerto Rico to break into reggaeton. His mother was a member of Las Chicas del Can, a popular '90s all-girl merengue group.

2. Arcangel ft. Daddy Yankee, "Guaya"
Arcangel teams up with genre king Daddy Yankee over some acidy squelches. A lot of indoor shades in this video. Arcangel has a hypnotic vocal delivery that sounds like he's pilled out at the beach.

3. RKM & Ken-Y, "Cuando Te Enamores"
RKM is the rapper and Ken-Y sings the hooks in this pop duo. While the beat is epic, there's too much Auto-Tune and the song never quite scales to the peak.

4. Bobby El Lobo Negro ft. Baby Rasta, "Seduceme"
One-piece-clad video girls shake it for Baby Rasta and Bobby El Lobo Negro in a Dan Flavin go-go cage. Baby Rasta was formerly in a duo with Gringo, but that split up in 2004 when Gringo accused their producer of paying more attention to Baby Rasta. They reunited in 2007, and during their reunion they referred to Baby Rasta & Gringo as "El Duo de Historia," sparking a beef with Wisin y Yandel, who claimed that title belonged to them. Bobby El Lobo Negro is a new EME artist, and his wolf howl is my new favorite trademark ad-lib.

5. Alexis y Fido ft. Arcangel & De Le Ghetto, "Camuflaje Remix"
A huge posse cut. The beat doesn't even drop until a minute in. A lot to process here, but it is the remix.

6. Jowell & Randy, "Ragga Dub"
There's a Bad Brains song called "Ragga Dub." This is not that song. Forgettable, overly Auto-Tuned, and not nearly dubby enough.

7. Farruko, "El Titerito"
This wasn't my favorite song the first time I listened to it, but the chorus was so catchy that I couldn't stop singing it. I also like everything Farruko wears in this video, and whatever kind of ATVs those are. Putting your music-video director credit on a fitted hat is pretty cool, Johnny Rose.

8. El Joey, "Me Puedes Llamar"
El Justin Bieber.

9. Daddy Yankee ft. Plan B, "Llevo Tras De Ti"
Awesome twinkly beat with some spooky Bone Thugs–style wailing from Plan B. This will sound amazing chopped and screwed.

10. Plan B, "Te Dijeron"
This song also charted on the Tropical Chart. This is as dubby as you would think "Ragga Dub" would be. Plan B really know how to work a build.
