Sorry, everyone. You've missed your chance to bid on a pair of 1980s Converse Dr. J game-worn sneakers that were converted into roller skates. I know. Tough break.

The skates (which sold for $940) were among the 144 items sold in an online auction of Julius Erving’s personal memorabilia. For what it's worth, Dr. J has said the auction was not connected to a lawsuit filed by a bank in Georgia, and says that he plans to donate some of the proceeds. So there's that.

Among the items sold:

• 1976 copy of the NBA collective bargaining agreement (final price: $2,520)
• 1976 New York Nets ABA World Championship Ring (final price: $195,396)
• 1977 NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Trophy (final price: $168,728)
• 1983 NBA Finals championship game net cut down by Dr. J (final price: $24,450)
