Does This Dr. J Auction Make You Sad?

Sorry, everyone. You've missed your chance to bid on a pair of 1980s Converse Dr. J game-worn sneakers that were converted into roller skates. I know. Tough break.

The skates (which sold for $940) were among the 144 items sold in an online auction of Julius Erving’s personal memorabilia. For what it's worth, Dr. J has said the auction was not connected to a lawsuit filed by a bank in Georgia, and says that he plans to donate some of the proceeds. So there's that.
