Grantland Network Podcast: Chris Ryan, Robert Mays, and Rembert Browne
By Chris Ryan
Today on the Triangle Podcast (affectionately know as Tripod around these parts) (and by these parts, I mean "my desk"), we focused on a crazy, fun, possibly conspiracy-riddled night in the NBA.
First, Robert Mays — who contributes to our daily NBA playoffs round-up, The Shootaround — came by to talk about Rajon Rondo and LeBron James's amazing performances in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. We also touched on some fishy refereeing calls and whether Dwyane Wade is a villain. We wrapped up the first segment talking about the beauty of the Spurs offense and the hilarity of Boris Diaw possibly getting himself a championship ring.
For the second half of the show, I was joined by Rembert Browne. We talked about the Wednesday's NBA Draft Lottery, the star-making performance of Irina Pavlova (who repped the Brooklyn Nets at the drawing) and how mad it might have made Adrienne Maloof.
(Note: you will probably enjoy this podcast more if you imagine Chandler Parsons winking at you while you listen.)
