After the river canoe trip we were exhuasted.  We stayed in some wonderful thatched and rock cabins along the river about 15 miles up river from Livingstone.  From the deck of the lodge we watched hippos floating down the river.  In a strange turn of fate, we ran into a teacher of the kids when they were in school in Vacaville - imagine out in the middle of the jungle along the Zambezi river we run into these people from home!  They were working as missionaries.
