Victoria Falls in on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. On our way back to Zimbabwe to catch a plane back to Harare, we stopped to see the falls. Unlike Iguazzi Falls in Brazil/Argentina, Victoria Falls fall into a deep but relatively narrow gorge. So you really can't see the entire falls from a distance - only from across the other side of the gorge. We walked on a stone sidewalk following the edge of the gorge opposite the cataract in the constant pouring rain from the falls. The cliffs are steep and the path wet and slippery and there were no guard rails.!!! They tell us they lose "a tourist or so" every year
