This is our last update just prior to departure. The itinerary may or may not have been updated by now, but we have moved our departure date up two days and are leaving tomorrow, Monday, instead of next Wednesday. This gives us more time in Belize to do more scuba diving. Anxieties are now running very high as we deal with the fact that some things just aren't going to get done before we leave. God bless Federal Express. Some of our stuff will be trailing us well into South America.

We abandoned our Incline Village, Nevada home last Thursday and moved our based down to the San Francisco Bay Area where we are staying with relatives. The last few days have been filled with going away parties. Even though we haven't even started yet, one of the best things about this trip is that it has provided the opportunity to meet up with a lot of old friends and catch up on things. In addition, we were forced to tie up all of those loose ends of life that one never seems to get around to.
